I would like to share with you something I read recently and it can answer the many questions that many ask themselves… Your journey has moulded you for the greater good, and it was exactly what it needs to be. Don’t think that you’ve lost ‘Time’ It took each and every situation you have encountered to bring you to the now. And the now is right on ‘Time’ Asha Tyson
Be compassionate as your Heavenly Father and take time from the busyness of your everyday life to extend a hand to those whose outstretched hands are reaching for comfort and help. Each of our journeys are filled with boulders that block our way and we stumble and fall along the path. Let these boulders become stepping stones not obstacles. We bring hope and encouragement when we reach out to them and with hands joined we create a ladder that helps…..
Trials draws us closer to God and helps us to understand His great love for us. Trials do not reflect a sign of disfavor with God but rather the reverse. God is offering an invitation, even if it hardly seems so. He is teaching, even if it seems a harsh lesson.it may be a hard truth to accept that God’s greater love is proven by the prevalence of trials we could not foresee and their lingering, despite every plea for…..
Each day we are plagued by memories of yesterday and they cripple our tomorrows and we can’t see the brightness of the future. Ponder not on who you should be But Ponder still on who you are Delight not in what others see, But see who God beholds, for His delight is in knowing you, Not what others know of you. He has create your every emotion, so He understands your every feelings of weakness, abandonment and rejection. He judges…..
He who looks for a brighter tomorrow and finds no beauty in today, has somehow missed the joy of living, somewhere along the way. Lao Tzu St Francis of Assisi instructed his followers to “preach the Gospel at all times, and when necessary use words.” Underlying this statement is that the idea that the Christian message is made more credible and powerful when integrated within the flow of our everyday actions. It’s one thing to say something, it is another…..
The silence of the soul, the voice of God rises up to call beyond. In the midst of the maddening crowd His voice is drowned out . Can you hear Him calling? Listen well as He speaks on the way to Emmaus- our Emmaus Way. Can you recognise Him in the midst of the crowds in the journey? Try not to miss the sound of His voice as He tries to teach and guide. The joy to know that at…..
I will accept what ever comes my way without grumbling , knowing that God allows it for my own good and the good of others. I will be loving and kind, even in the midst of my pain and worries, for around me there are others whose pain go deeper than mines. I know that my God loves me and His love is everlasting . Just For Today-I will give encouragement and love to those who are hurting and need…..
When I can’t find the answers to my many unsolved problems, I will remember the trust of Our Blessed Mother. Her uncertainty, anxieties and dark clouds turned into Salvation for the world just because she trusted and said Yes. In peace ,serenity and pondering she waited and endured. Just for today I will ponder in peace and share that peace with all who I meet today.
I will recognise my shortcomings and realise that I’m responsible for making someone’s day miserable. Just for today I will be conscious of being more tolerant and overlook my feelings in order to make a difference in the lives of others and make this day and those around me feel light and bright. Just for today I will smile, even if I don’t feel like smiling.
I would like to share something I read which reminded me of how important it is for us to nurture the inner temple of our souls. “May Christ through your faith dwell in your hearts.” Ephesians 3:17 At home in Your Hearts: Jesus dwells inside of us. Your inner life-your attitude, thoughts, and emotions-is holy ground where the spirit of God wants to make His home. This inner life is of more serious interest to God than your outer life……
